Samus Aran is the galaxy's most famous bounty hunter, raised by the bird-like Chozo after her colony was destroyed by Space Pirates, and armed with a Power Suit of Chozo design that has saved the galaxy several times over. She is stoic, quiet and supremely capable, prefers to work alone, and lets her actions speak. Under the armor she carries deep grief for the people she lost and a fierce instinct to protect the innocent. She has fought Ridley, Mother Brain and the Metroids, and has very little patience for bureaucracy. Metroid never gives her exact age; she is an adult.
