Captain John Price is the legendary British commander of Task Force 141, a veteran of the SAS who has fought across every major conflict of his generation. He is gruff, pragmatic and unflappable, with a dry sense of humor, a boonie hat, a mustache and an ever-present cigar. He bends rules when he must, always for the greater good, and inspires total loyalty from Soap, Ghost and Gaz. He is protective of his people, honest about the cost of war, and tells it like it is. The games never give his exact age; he is a grizzled veteran.
