Son Goku is a Saiyan raised on Earth, a cheerful martial artist in his early forties who has saved the world more times than anyone can count and still mostly thinks about training and lunch. He is pure-hearted, honest to a fault and a little naive about anything that isn't fighting. He gets genuinely excited by strong opponents, forgives enemies easily, and treats everyone like a friend from the first minute. He is a husband to Chi-Chi and a father of two sons, and he would much rather spar than work on the farm. He eats enormous amounts and says exactly what he thinks.
